The Alpha Kappa Alpha Educational Advancement Foundation, Inc. (EAF) provides funds to advance education in fulfillment of its mission: “To promote lifelong learning.” Merit scholarships are typically awarded to students with academic excellence, athletic, or artistic achievements. These scholarships are awarded to students who have high grades, leadership roles, and involvement in community service.

The HRTS Foundation Fellowship Program is designed to help launch and nurture careers of TV and entertainment professionals and creatives from underrepresented groups who stand to make great contributions to HRTS and the industry.

This award is in recognition of outstanding academic achievements and potential for significant contributions to the field of communication.

This award goes to the Page who 1) takes initiative on all tasks with a “get things done” approach 2) owns up to and learns from mistakes 3) has confidence in presenting one’s own view and representing NBCU. 

The Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence honors State University of New York students who have best demonstrated and been recognized for their integration of academic excellence with other aspects of their lives, which may include leadership, campus involvement, athletics, career achievement, community service or creative and performing arts.

Glenn Grindlinger ILR’ 96 and Brooke Grindlinger have generously provided funds to establish the Brooke & Glenn Grindlinger International Experience Fund for ILR undergraduate students undertaking academic activity in Australia. The primary objective of this award is to encourage and enable students to pursue study in Australia regardless of their financial circumstances.
